Project Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated Project Support Worker to support our Centre Coordinator in delivering vital services to asylum seekers, refugees, and the wider community at Redcar Baptist Church's Centre for Warmth. This frontline role combines person-centred advocacy and integration support with administrative responsibilities, helping vulnerable individuals access services, understand their rights, and build connections in the local community. You'll also be providing wider community support including benefits advice, energy safety awareness, and maintaining essential project records and reporting systems. The position offers 15 hours per week on a temporary 1-year contract (with possibility to extend) at £10,140 per annum.

Community Engagement Worker

We are looking for a warm, welcoming Community Engagement Worker to join our team at Redcar Baptist Church's Centre for Warmth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in our community, working primarily within our Community Grocery to connect customers with vital support services including energy advice, benefits guidance, and community activities. You'll be providing one-to-one advocacy, delivering cooking sessions, and helping people access Priority Services Register support and carbon monoxide safety information. The role offers 15 hours per week on a temporary 1-year contract (with possibility to extend) at £10,140 per annum.
